Compliance Project under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data

Middle East Hospital launched a strategic collaboration with Nesil Group to secure patient data, comply with legal regulations and raise data security standards. The project aimed to ensure the company’s compliance with the general data protection regulation, and a series of successful steps were taken in this process.

Technological Security Measures

Nesil strengthened the Hospital’s technological infrastructure. Databases were protected with encryption technologies and additional security measures were taken against unauthorised access. Through periodic security checks and system updates, the systems were kept continuously up to date.

Transparency and Patient Information:

Nesil took the necessary steps to enable the Hospital to establish transparent communication with its customers. On the website and other communication channels, the data usage policies regarding the services offered to customers were clearly explained. Patients were thus made aware of how the information provided would be used and protected.

Data Analysis and Improvement

The Hospital’s data processing operations were subjected to a detailed review. Which department accesses which data, the data storage methods and the processes were analysed. At this stage, the level of data security and compliance was raised through adjustments made where necessary.

Nesil began by offering KVKK training programmes designed specifically for all the Hospital’s employees. The training was organised to cover personnel at every level within the company. In this way, every employee was made aware of the fundamental principles of the KVKK, data protection responsibilities and potential penal sanctions.

KVKK Certificate

In accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, training on KVKK matters was provided to all hospital employees and assessed by examination, in order to create a workforce profile that is aware and competent in the protection and processing of personal data. A KVKK Certificate was awarded to our successful employees.

Layered Privacy Notices Prepared!

Within the scope of the KVKK compliance project carried out by Nesil Group, more than 100 Layered Privacy Notices Specific to Middle East Hospital were prepared!

As part of the KVKK compliance project carried out by Nesil Group, a privacy notice was prepared regarding the camera systems used by the Hospital for security purposes. This text explains for what purposes and how the camera systems are used, and layered privacy notices explaining how visitors’ personal data is protected were prepared.
